If you are a bargain shopper or even have any experience online, you know very well that there are various sites out there providing your “cheap” alternatives. But when it comes to buying a refurbished MacBook Pro there is more to know than just a price point. The details every looks at include: the operating system, size of hard drive, length of battery life, and how much can it handle (processor/RAM). One question not many ask themselves is “Who am I buying this from?”.

Well fear no more about these cumbersome questions. I’m here to tell you that I came across a web site that specializes in discount technology solutions that are focused on customer satisfaction and pricing. The do in fact stock other computers such as IBM, DELL, and Samsung. Today however we will just be covering Apple, more specifically the MacBook Pro and your options with Tech.trade.

While looking over Tech.trade you will notice that the layout is fairly simplistic, and you will quickly be able to see that the range of MacBook Pros range from £329.00 to £899.00. One of the main differences in the price point is due to some MacBook’s have the Retina Display while others do not. So, let’s take a closer look at your low, mid, and high range MacBook’s to see what is right for you.

We will cover the basic tech specs that most should look at no matter what. At our low point, you will find Apple MacBook Pros with some of the following specs:

Option 1 (Lowest Price)

Screen size: 13.3”

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo

RAM: 8GB

HDD: 512GB

Battery Life: Up to 7 hours

Operating System: El Capitan OS X 10.11

Cost: £329.00

Option 2 (Mid Price)

Screen size: 13.3”

Processor: Intel Core i5

RAM: 4GB

HDD: 500GB

Battery Life: Up to 7 hours

Operating System: El Capitan OS X 10.11

Cost: £579.00

Option 3 (High Price)

Screen size: 13.3” (retina display)

Processor: Intel Core M 1.2GHz

RAM: 8GB

HDD: 512GB

Battery Life: Up to 10 hours

Operating System: El Capitan OS X 10.11

Cost: £899.00

So, after viewing the details of those MacBook’s what have we learned? The price increases as the “power” behind the machine increases. Even if you don’t understand the specs that were listed above I’m sure you could pick out the costlier item from the pictures alone. And that is for good reason, the larger price point machine has retina display, a longer battery life and a much better processor.

All machines that are being sold seem to have El Capitan OS X 10.11 on them which means they are all highly capable machines. And if you are like me and you cannot wait to open your new toy and get started I urge you to use their next day shipping option at only £10.00.

All the details above look to be great, but one question we didn’t cover is who are we buying this from? What do we know about them? Well I have found that Tech.trade is a company that stands by their product. If you receive a faulty device or a device was damaged during shipment you need only to contact and they will assist in the process of returning that device and replacing it where possible.

All and all Tech.trade is on the top of my list when purchasing refurbished devices, and it excites me to see a reputable company who sells refurbished MacBooks at reasonable prices.
